Charles C. Schwartz, CFA
Senior Vice President, Lead Portfolio Manager
Chuck is the Small Company Team Lead Portfolio Manager, and is Lead Manager of Sentinel Small Company Fund.

Chuck received his B.S. from the University of Colorado and his M.B.A. from the University of Louisville. He is a member of the Vermont CFA Society and the CFA Institute.

Betsy G. Pecor, CFA
Senior Vice President, Co-Portfolio Manager
Betsy is Co-Manager of the Sentinel Small Company Fund. Prior to joining Sentinel in 2000, she was affiliated with Catalyst Ventures, Inc., and Raymond James Financial/Eagle Asset Management, Inc.

Betsy earned her B.S. from the University of Vermont and her M.B.A. from the University of South Florida. She is a member of the Vermont CFA Society and the CFA Institute.

Matthew J. McGeary, CFA
Assistant Vice President, Equity Analyst
Matt joined Sentinel in 2005, and provides analysis on energy, materials, industrials and utilities stocks.

Prior to joining Sentinel, Matt was with Cincinnati-based Fort Washington Investment Advisors as a senior research manager. Before that, he worked for Reams Asset Management, in Columbus, Indiana, as an equity analyst, and at Investor Responsibility Research Center, Washington, DC, as a senior analyst. Matt earned his B.A. at Kenyon College, and his M.B.A at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

Carole M. Hersam, CFA
Vice President, Equity Analyst
Carole Hersam originally joined Sentinel in 2000 as an Equity analyst. She currently covers Financials, Utilities and Telecom for the Small Company Team. Prior to joining Sentinel, Carole worked for Gouws Capital Management in Portland, ME and Loomis Sayles and Co. in Boston.

Carole earned her BA at Mount Holyoke College and an M.Ed at Harvard University. She holds the CFA designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Matthew R. Spitznagle, CFA
Assistant Vice President, Equity Analyst
Matt joined Sentinel in 2005, and provides analysis on consumer discretionary and financial stocks. He was previously employed as an equity research analyst at Northern Trust Global Investments in Chicago. Prior to that, he worked for American Re Asset Management in New Jersey as an investment analyst.

Matt earned his B.S. at the University of Illinois and his M.B.A at Northern Illinois University. He is a member of the Investment Analyst Society of Chicago.
